Not far from Moscow, in 60 km, the village GZHEL is located, which given name to the craft. In Gzhel developed national crafts of art products from ceramics long since. Practically in all 30 villages produced utensils, bricks, toys, various hand-made articles. Nowadays they are organize Gzhel industrial zone.

Rechizkiy porcelain works is one of the oldest industrial enterprises of Gzhel. It based in 1858 by businessman Kurinov Mikhail.

Up to 1930 years the works specialized on output of porcelain economic utensils. After revolution of 1917 the works has passed in submission of National Management of factory committees, and then in state association "Glass and porcelain".

Following time the works changed your profile to output of electroadjusting low-voltage porcelain: sockets, safety-locks, rollers, lamp-sockets and socles to him etc. Also began development of chemistry-laboratory utensils from porcelail.

In the beginning of 60-th happened the first reconstruction of the works, which realization would allow to pass completely to output thermal-proof, chemical acid-resist porcelain utensils. It was introduce the additional capacities by the area 22271 sq.km., including 3 continuously working furnaces for burning of production and technological process from preparation of weights, glaze before sorting and packing of ready production.

In 1976 at the works the second reconstruction is carried out with the purpose of output of products from special ceramics. It was built the new case for produce products from tallow weight.

In 1983 alongside with manufacture of chemistry-laboratory utensils and products technical porcelain, the works begans output the consumer goods.

With reduction of requirement in chemistry-laboratory utensils, increased output of the consumer goods for household in traditional Gzhel style.

Today we are producing: decorative plates, butterdishes, cups with saucers and other products, paintings by dark blue colours, leaf, gentle - light-blue buds on white background.

Production is in great demand. All products are made only by hands of the national foremen, which own receptions of a free hands paintings. Using simple motives of flowers ornament, they are create compositions, improving a grayish shade of porcelain and facilitating heavy forms of products. Our works produce unexpensive household utensils executed by a mechanical way and decorated with a free hand-painting, that correspond to local traditions of the Gzhel handicrafts of the beginning XIX centuries.
